From: "Nature Conservancy", Winter 2006, Vol. 56, No.4, pp.57-58:
" Not far from Princeton, the Sourland Mountains span thousands of forested acres that harbor 65 species of neotropical migratory birds. They also contain the headwaters of 11 streams that provide drinking water to central New Jersey. The Conservancy recently partnered with the D&R Greenway Land Trust to purchase a key 25-acre parcel, the first of several sites the conservancy plans to protect with the help of local partners. Together, these parcels create a critical link to more than 5,000 acres of preserved greenway. The Conservancy transferred a portion of a $1.5 million 3M Corp. grant to the land trust to fund the purchase and create a stewardship endowment."---Does anyone know if this greenway has a connection to the PB's?---David
