Why go thru the hassles of trapping when there is so much road kill around?

If He's eating them,leave him alone.If he has no job and no money He has the right to forage anyway.There is no law that forces you to starve to death though I hear they are working on one.

I suppose it's possible, but rabies isn't all that common. The majority of raccoons have baylisascaris.

No doubt. This is the reason why when I am looking for animal tracks with kids I tell them not to even go near scat. Awful.

A man at work has chickens and he has skids in his yard that he moves around so the chickens can then get the grubs that go under them. We were laughing about the fact he basically was eating grubs for breakfast.

A lot of woodcock recipes include instructions to serve the "trail" (guts) on toast. It's hard to think of earthworms as an epicurean treat, even when predigested by a woodcock.
