When I started hiking this hill in the early 70" there was a ground sign that said "Tea Time Hill". A hike leader told me it was named that because it was a rest stop. Later I learned on this site that it is also called Mt Korbar, a contraction of the last names of the 2 men who laid out the Batona trail in 1961.
