Interesting shots. A different perspective at night huh? So what is up with that stick and rock on the rope? Some blairwitch business going on there:D

Yea really, it was pretty strange... Chuck, Joe, and I noticed it as we pulled up and almost made us not want to get out of the truck. We really couldn't tell what it was... it looked like a bone or something from a distance. But since we had made the trip out there we figured we'd get out of the truck and explore a bit regardless of that strange thing hanging in the tree was.

Later on while taking in the view of the pygmy pines at night, we all suddenly head a loud thud behind us! Up until then the woods had been dead silent except for a few distant birds. We all looked at each other thinking one of us was playing around, but here everybody had their hands in their pockets. It sounded like something/someone had thrown a large rock at us. After going some quick investigating and some tense moments, we all decided it'd probably be a good idea to head out of there. As we were leaving Nick/Deviltoy noticed the thing hanging and snapped that picture- as he had missed it earlier. We all left pretty quickly after that.
