Good stuff, I have seen one dead red eared slider at whitesbog last summer. He was really old looking and big. Always nice to see spotted pics, looks like you came across quite a few, thought that one was a bog for a second, but then I realized you were in the pines. Nice pics.

Yea, that picture is a little blurry but from a distance it could be mistaken for a bog. There is another thread where someone said they saw a bog turtle. This is a good example on how they could be confused.

Yeah Red-Eared Sliders are a non-native species, "introduced".. didn't find any spotted turtles so far... hopefully i'll have some luck before it gets too hot out. Lots of Redbellys, painteds, sliders and 2 snappers today. Also lots of bullfrogs,green frogs, and a pickerel frog. As for salamanders, just redbacks.

And ran across a garter snake mating ball today, 8-15 individuals, not sure exactly. I felt bad for disturbing their mating, but after i put them down, the horny things went right back at it, not even caring i was there. Also 1 water snake that i couldn't get a pic of.
