This is a terribly sad story. I appreciate the info in this thread as it kept me out of certain areas and hiking in some new ones for a change of pace. Good looking out from the members here, thank you!

Very good news.

Hopefully, he will receive a sentence of life without parole but with this being New Jersey, that outcome is very doubtful.
He was previously sentenced to a total of 9-1/2 years in 2018 for four separate violent crimes. He was walking the streets in 2020, so I guess he was completely rehabilitated.
