There is a population of Broom Crowberry along Route 72 and while driving on it I noticed that either the electric company or the mowers have sprayed poison around the poles to keep weeds from growing. Hopefully, the population is not near the poles.

I saw that too. I think it’s the mowers. Since all along the guardrails were sprayed too not just the poles.

I was there once and it seems to me they were not near a pole.

We visited there today and noticed that most of the Crowberry has been poisoned. A few portions are still growing.

I would inform the Pinelands Commission. Not much can be done now but it may prevent future applications from happening.
