Ariadne,

I used to work for NJOIT in their OGIS department (Office of Geographic Information Systems). They also have online internet map services there too.

I haven't been there in awhile but they do have 2002 orthographic photos of the entire state of New Jersey. You can search by address to pull up the correct layer you're looking for then download that to your local machine. You'll need some GIS software to view these though.

https://njgin.state.nj.us/

Have a look around. Like I said, I haven't been there in awhile so I'm not sure what exact changes have been made. We worked pretty closely with NJDEP GIS on some projects (hosted some of their map services on our servers).

Peace,

Justin

Justin,

Sweet! I am trying to get comfortable with ArcGIS, but in all honesty, its capabilities far surpass my abilities to use it. Hands down, however, I can't think of a better mapping system for spatial data. I would love to pick your brain on this stuff. Apparently, NJ offers some sort of public class in April on GIS, which I'm considering checking out. Anyhow, thanks for the link. Some of the layers are very useful to me.
