I use to hear these, spadefoots and fowlers all the time at my house but then my neighbor cleared 15 acres for hay and horses. Now Im lucky if i get any spadefoots or toads in the pool, grey trees still call but not like before. Curious has anyone heard spadefoots call with these rains?

It's funny you mention them. I haven't heard them this year. I usually get them especially on rainy nights but haven't noticed them this year. My pond has been drier then most years this spring though

They are moving out of the pond and up into the trees for the summer. They sound happy today. (There is my soft spoken cat who wasn't happy I left her inside crying too)

Do you hear them all summer?
