Medford has closed the park where the "wildlife encounter" occurred on Rancocas Creek, quote below. A quick check on Google cites a fatal attack on a 60 year old fisherman in Belarus, who "may" have provoked the attack when he grabbed the beaver. Also, an attack on a Boy Scout leader in PA in which the troop stoned the animal to death in retaliation. There may not be a lot of black bear, but there is a lot of beaver. Searching for their next victim.
