this is great news, you guys are very lucky to have been shown around the tavern. I wish more of the orlder buildings could have been saved.

If the state bought the property in the past, it would now be surrounded by a chain link fence, the windows would be boarded up, and the roof would be leaking. The county has slightly more resources at its disposal but I still wish Rudy a long and healthy life. The best thing for an old building these days is someone living in it.

I suspect when he goes there will be problems. Unless they have a county office move in or something like that.
