New Jersey just keeps on losing
ALLENTOWN, PA. — Ocean Spray has broken ground on a new bottling plant outside Allentown.
The company is spending $110 million to relocate a juice bottling facility from Bordentown City to Upper Macungie Township in eastern Pennsylvania.
The company says the 315,000-square-foot plant will employ 165 workers. It’s slated to open in September 2013.
Ocean Spray says the plant will bottle its own juices as well as Nestle’s Juicy Juice products. More than 32 million cases will roll off the production line each year.
