MCI Enduro Club partnering with
Bass River State Forest for 15th annual MCI clean up day on Sunday, November 28, 2010

The 15th annual MCI Bass River State Forest clean up day is scheduled for
November 28th 2010. One of the club's most visible give-back -to-the community initiatives, the MCI Bass River State Forest clean up day is celebrating it's 15th anniversary. Since the inaugural clean up day in 1995, the MCI Enduro Club has hauled an estimated 35 tons of trash out of Bass River State Forest. Removed trash typically ranges from carelessly discarded soda cans and candy wrappers to illegally dumped waste industrial building materials; the club has even removed junked boats and campers from state forest land
.

MCI President Dave Nash is enthusiastic for the partnership with Bass River State Forest. "The cleanup day is our way of giving back to the environment that provides MCI with the opportunity to do what we enjoy. We want others to enjoy a clean environment and to support the Parks Department in their goal of providing clean park space. The cleanup day also helps illustrate the enduro community is interested in the well being of the forest and is a positive partner in state land use." "We appreciate all the efforts of our volunteers at Bass River State Forest," remarked Superintendent Cynthia Coritz. "From cleanups to trail maintenance, with your help we are able to create memorable experiences for our visitors."

The MCI Bass River State Forest clean up will run from 9 am to 12 noon. The meet up location is the
Bass River State Forest Ranger and Visitor Station, 762 Stage Rd Tuckerton, NJ 08087
.
