Stick figures

Perhaps we have too much imagination or I have been in the Pines too long.

I have looked upon many of the burnt - weathered yet standing trees as various figures.

This one looks to be one walk'n along.

Ummm, this is crazy. It is almost the same instant by comparing the formations of the cloud. I was up at the highpoint on 539 standing on the roof of my car. edit: referring to your first photo.

Very nice composition to your photo!

All very nice. It does look like you both were busy at the same time.

It does seem to be exactly the same formation.

My wife and I just crossed 539 heading west from 3 Foot road and the clouds appeared on our left.

That is quite interesting.

It would be fun to have several us go out separately in a section of the pines at the same time of day and with distance between us and photograph what we see.

Drifter some day we will meet.

Be well !

All beautiful pictures, nice work! Very cool that you both got the same shot of the clouds.
I always enjoy the silhouette pics.

a village...in the pines

Looks to me like he is dancin' around that little "campfire" in the lower left corner......(now that's too much imagination). Beautiful photos!

Late this summer Pancoast and I simultaneously photographed large thunderhead formations at sunset. I believe he was up around 539 and I was on Turtle Creek. It's an sweet feeling to recognize that someone akin to you has found the same observations worthy of capturing.
