"Burlington County advised farmer-veterinarian Dr. William Pettit Jr. he could not train dogs on his 1992-preserved farm in Southampton because it violated the agricultural use deed restriction. He has a permitted veterinary business on the farm that predated preservation and is still permitted. “We are obliged to enforce a deed easement even if we think an exception seems reasonable for a farmer needing to find more ways to make revenue,” said Mary Pat Robbie, director of the county department of resource conservation."

I agree with Ms. Robbie. Don't open up the floodgates.
