All,

We spent the early morning visiting the campsite where I use to camp back in the 1970s at the Forked River Mountains. First, we visited the original location of the camp that I first was taken to in 1973 when I was 16.

The road up.

We walked the current path from the original site to the main site we camped at.

This is the hill our camp was on. We would climb these small trees to the top and clap at the sunset as I have mentioned before. See photo below this.

Our campsite. The road down was much more closed in back then. The area to the left is where I parked my car. Notice the big tree on the right.

The big tree in 1978. The vehicle is where the above photo was taken at and Jessica is standing about where the cooler was.

The ferns are already quite tall.

I still have my Coleman cabin tent Guy. I have the 9' x 12'.

My parents bought it in the early 70's and we camped from ME to FL in that tent.. I used it through the mid 1980's and into the early 90's when my kids were growing up. I have a plan to use it this coming June.

Here is a link to a guy enjoying one recently.

The tent was mine and everything else was not mine. In later years I would set it up in the back yard for my kids to play in. Eventually, mice ate it in my shed and I had to throw it out.
