Thats a pretty serious mistake.I wonder if he copied it off another map or possibly it was illegible?

I would think it was a mistake. I have never viewed it spelled that way.

Yep, the brain is faster than the eye. Ever see those quiz things; count the number of A's in a paragraph? The letters don't have to be there for the brain to know what the word is. Those without brains have it more difficult

Me too, haha! Then yesterday I finally noticed and had to look twice to make sure my eyes weren't fooling me.

There's another error also...Marmora in Upper Twp, Cape May County is spelled Marmosa on the aerial
