Hey all! I am new here to NJPB. I am currently not a pine barren explorer but I am branching out and looking forward to finding beautiful, hidden wonders in our "backyard". I am trying to locate the best place to go, near LBI to photograph(or try to) the meteor shower happening sometime in the wee-hours of morn. I know this is a late request but if anyone out there has any ideas of where someone can just set up camp for a few hours between 12-6am, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch!

Very nice views last night; a good number of meteors, a beatiful full moon that at one time was encircled by a high altitude, thin cloud for a great effect, and the ISS zipping past at around 10. No pix as we were vewing from the middle of Barnegat Bay.

The ISS will pass overhead again tonight and the Perseids will still be visible, but clouds are moving in and may spoil the show.

ISS schedule; click on the town nearest you
