Whoa Al ! Look at you, all sophisticated and such with a Kindle. I am still using a rope-start computer. You go to hit it with a little ether when it's cold out sometimes.
I will be the last person on earth still calling them the Pine Barrens.

Al, I will hit the 70 mark later this year! But that does profit me with 50 years of pine barrens enjoyment!

All I ever wanted to be when I grew up was a Dirty Old Man like my Pop Pop and Dad. My wife tells me at 56 I have definitely achieved that goal.

Just watched the movie.I think He did a pretty good job.Surprisingly being from Tuckerton He even came pretty close to getting the local pronunciation of the Maurice River right. he pronounced it Moreiss instead of Morris but thats better then Mahriss or Mawreese that we usually get from non locals.
Also at about the 22 minute mark they had pics of different vegetation types.It is just me or does the pic of a cedar swamp look like a maple gum swamp to you all? I don't see a cedar tree in it. All in all worth the time to watch even though it was mostly known info for me but a nice refresher.he did a skit on charcoaling, woulda been nice for some info on Tar though he did mention it.
