Pine Barrens Eco-Tour led by Dr. Emile De Vito
We would begin at the Brendan Byrne State Forest Office (near the jct of rt 70 and 72 ) at 9 AM and end at 3:30 PM (May 15). People MUST arrive ready to carpool with others from this point, as it is unsafe and impractical to have a long chain of cars. I have no person limit, I just want people to expect to either have their vehicles filled with people OR be ready to get into someone else's vehicle. People need to commit to the whole tour, as it is a big loop and we cannot come back to the meeting place early to drop off people who need to leave early. People should bring lunch.
We will visit David F Moore Natural Area (Cedar Swamp), Historic Whitesbog, Webbs Mill Orchid Bog, Warren Grove Pygmy Pines, Franklin Parker Preserve, Apple Pie Hill, and Michael Huber Prairie Warbler Preserve.
