Thank you! I always liked that event. They used to activate the water mill-driven lumber mill and everything and maybe they still do! I told my friend about it. Maybe she'll go. She remembered that i once bought her a beautiful blue bottle from that Fair. I forgot about that. I have a weakness 4 certain shades of blue.

I have a feeling the Batsto fair will be too jam-packed to be enjoyable. It's such a good one they should make it a 3-day weekend.

I think I'm going to check this out tomorrow. I'm friends with author Barbara Solem, and she will be there. She's very knowledgable about Batsto and the Pine Barrens in general.

Always liked walking thru this building but it wasn't even open :-(

Tell Barbara hello. The owner of this site (Ben) and I traveled with her and Budd Wilson to Howardsville and Union Clay Works many years ago in Ben's Jeep.

I met Barbara when I did her Ghost Towns bus tour in 2019. Very cool lady, and she knows so many people in the Pine Barrens! She's been inspiring me to start writing about the area.
