SOUTHAMPTON - “Fundamentals of Pinelands Field Botany and Vegetation Communities,” a joint program of New Jersey Conservation Foundation and the Pinelands Preservation Alliance, will be offered as a 10-week course this summer.
Taught by G. Russell Juelg, land steward for New Jersey Conservation Foundation, the course will appeal to those who enjoy the distinctive flora of the Pine Barrens and want to gain a deeper understanding. The course will include a classroom lecture each Thursday night between June 9 and Aug. 11, plus weekend field trips.
