Bob, Jessica, and I were out and about today looking for Swamp Pink thinking we were slightly early. Fortunately, there were a few showing their pretty little flowers, so we took the time to take some photo’s.

We also found fiddleheads. You may see Oriental residents walking along the sides of highways collecting these to eat.
This is carex exillis, a sedge.
