Well done! And I hear there maybe more to come :)

Pines; Bamber area

Terry said...."She is so keen about the outdoors that often during the summer she doesn't eat dinner until 9 p.m. "

I'm hip to that Terry. I have a hard time staying in during the summer too. Lately, I like looking at plants in far-flung areas from my home, especially this time of year...Atlantic, Cape May, and Cumberland County. I leave at 1 PM and don't come home till dark. I'll eat at a wawa or whatever. I love sniffing out roadside plants in damp areas. Great stuff!

You'll not find a better girl all around to represent the region and it's wonders other than Terry.
She learns, she teaches, she shares, she cares. She is the personality that is Batsto when you walk in the door. She is the driving force on the state side and her draw of the common person that helps Mike Tarsia's cleanup be so successful year after year. Her art will like so many others preserve that which is so dear, fragile, and gentle about our Pine Barrens. In no way does she just talk the talk. She's in on it, 100%. She can and has been the tie that binds, the common thread if you will in so many get togethers and chances for us all to enjoy each others company where we normally might not. In Terry you have a refined mix of an educated woman, a lady, yet someone who will get right down in the muck and slop to seek out what must be sought. Albeit for fun or learning or a little of both, she'll take you from the classroom to the field, stream, and anywhere in between. That article was well spent on a great person. This site, this region, the good people of and around the Barrens, and all that comes with it are better for her and people like her being a part of it. You rock Terry!

It's an excellent article, and those of us who have been fortunate enough to meet Terry know that words cannot capture her warmth and charm.

George, with Terry as your subject, you have waxed eloquent, and I'll chime in to agree with you. There's no one quite like this many-splendored gal!

a village...in the pines
I thank each of you for your kindness. There is a great big beautiful world out there and each of us interprets its glory in our own ways. This forum is a perfect testament to that fact. All of you selflessly share with the universe your words, your adventures, the breathtaking photographs, your never-ending knowledge and your appreciation of this beloved place we call the pines. Painting is my outlet, the pines and the people who embrace it are my constant inspiration. Having access to your talents and passions is akin to having an encyclopedia of the pines at one’s fingertips..... a continuous reminder to me of the many blessings in my life.
