Another newspaper article about this. The Press did not report that one of the girls was airlifted to AC.
Now this is the reason I mark where my car is or the beginning of the trail head on my GPS before I venture into the woods, so this doesn't happen to me, or the people I am with.
My e'trex legend automatically records a 'back trail' so you're cool as long as you don't erase it...of coruse if you don't turn it on...run out of batteries...
When I was nine or ten I got lost in the woods during a canoe trip down the Basto (I think it was). Some how I managed to find my way back to the camp before I arouse too much concern. It was at night and I was pretty freaked out. I remember thinking "the jersey devil is gonna get me"
