Does anyone know exaclty what really happened at the Purgatory house? As to why the just up n left?

From where I am located if i head down RT 70 towards the Red Lion Circ, (from Marlton) There is a side road call Purgatory, and there is an abandoned house there other known as the "Purgatory House". There are rumors to be that the family up and moved after their daughter died in the house. But, no one knows as to why or how she died. So im a bit curious.

The road is real and the story is the family just left leaving all their possesions behind. Another family has moved nearby and has bought all the land (including the house) all the way to RT 70
