Quail In The Pines

Saw my first covey of quail in over 30 years in the pines not far from Carranza. Totally made my day!

It is a good sign for sure. Haines work is apparently a success.

That is encouraging and I hope it can be sustained.
The last time we had healthy quail populations in this State we didn't have an expanding coyote population to contend with.
