Bob, Believe.

I will eat crow for this game. Although people could say that the Eagles Defense was excellant and Manning played like a high-schooler, both of which helped the Eagles win....Donovan still played very well. His hand-push over the goal, his pass-off while stumbling from the snap, and that nice drive down the field right before the half showed he had a lot of skill going for him today. Plus he had some great 3rd downs.

I still think he cannot go all the way when the pressure mounts the next game or the next.

Philip Rivers And Jake Delhomme can make it a foursome. I'm born and raised in this area and work in Philly but I'm a lifelong Steelers fan!

How about the the utterly disgusted face the Giants assistant coach is making after Mcnabb picks up the phone to mock them. Hilarious!!! What a clown! The Giants had nothing more to lose at that point #5 is lucky one of the Giants did not knock him into next week!

I really, really, really, want to believe in this team!!!
It seems different this time.......
If the big boys up front (D-Line) and our beast #55 keep on wupping up on folks, I think we have a legitimate shot!!

I did not watch an Eagles game during this regular season...because the way I smack the Reid / Mcnabb duo around, I thought it would be false of me to root him on after calling Mcnabb a post-season choker for years.

But I did watch yesterday's wild-card game, because I was ready to apologize to all of you, and say you were right, that he had some post-season spark in him after all---that I should have just had faith like the rest of you.

Well.....I don't know what to say now.....other than this is painful to watch year after year.

I'd like to see both a new Coach and a new Quarterback. I want to feel okay rooting for the Eagles again.

You were right Bob, my uncles were right, all the Mcnabb critics were right on the money. The guys legacy will be as a crunch time choker. There are so many problems with this team, the offensive line making it next to impossible to get anything established, the defense with far too many holes. They only looked good this year against very bad teams. Its a tough pill to swallow, this hurts but I've already moved on. I hope Mcnabb moves on and finishes his career somewhere else. I do realize that may make the team have to take a step back and reload, but its time. They should concentrate on strengthening the defense as a priority and give the kid Kolb a shot.
