All,

The goal for today was to revisit a stone that I first saw back in 2005 that should have had the letters LS inscribed on it, but I could not see anything at the time. Al (manumuskin) visited there a few weeks ago so I decided I needed to check it again to confirm my original findings. We entered off of Carranza Road and our first obstacle was this bridge. It was really slippery on the one side and the water was semi deep at that location.

We safety made it across and started down a narrow trail on the other side, and in no time we were soaked because the vegetation was wet from the recent rains. We wore sneakers and regular boots so we just walked through all the puddles we came upon.

She is allergic to brier scrapes and turns red almost instantly all around it.

Lady Slippers are all over in some places.

And after 2 miles of walking we finally made it to the stone. I don't usually bother them but to confirm if there were letters on it I had brought a small shovel along. After digging to the bottom of the stone I can report it is absent of the letters LS on it. Why my records show that is uncertain but somewhere in history a mistake was made.

We meandered around somewhat and eventually made it back to my car. This injured butterfly was attached to my wheel.

I have no idea without just making guesses.
