Road Blocked

I noticed that they blocked the road next to the Jersey Central RR bridge at 72 in the sandy area by pushing sand up or down the hill to build it up. I suspect many individuals were getting stuck there and or they wanted to keep vehicles from getting up to the high ground. However, it seems that water is running down the hill already starting to wash some of it away.

That is some very fine sugar sand in that area.

Al, I do not know if they blocked anything else. I saw it driving by multiple times.

Yes, the sugar sand is tough there. I was concerned the last time I was there but did fine. I was just parking and turning around.
