Roads to Nowhere

I’ve been on many a hike with OCSJ and have never seen people drop litter and such, especially that quantity of stuff. Most of the people are regulars that care about the pines and wouldn’t let newbies trash-up the place.

What Ed was talking about did not sound like intentional littering. Just people loosing stuff. I've lost some stuff in the Pines as well. A GPS unit, a $20.00 hiking stick and more sunglasses than I can remember.

How many times did I drop my gloves on the last hike! If it were not for others finding them I would not own a pair. With bulky clothes, and maybe just starting on the hike, it is easy to loose things. I agree with Steve since it has happened to us.

That is why I always walk at the end of the line. If you guys ever want your Gps unit, sunglasses, walking stick or gloves back let me know. I've been putting them to good use.
