More exploring in the burn area today. We were walking a road and a vehicle came by and the man on the passenger side asked if we were okay.

Found a mouse under one. I believe someone on a motorcycle is checking them.

Back in the burn area again today looking for a Rockwood property corner. This corner is along the edge of Sycamore Ave which is a paper road that never was built. I usually get to that area from West Mill Road but since it is a shorter walk from Rockwood road, and the woods are burned, we gave it a shot today.

Jessica was vertically challenged today.

We crossed the Gun Branch again, which is dry, and headed south to Sycamore Street which as I mentioned was never built. Arriving there I spent some time looking around and noticed this.

I am sure nobody has visited this since it was placed there in the 1950s. It is remote.

This is a map made by Joseph Truncer, head of the Wharton survey team. You can see Sycamore Street and the arrow points to the monument above. I looked for the other one but have to go back again.
