Saw my first coyote.

Was driving around today in the Pines and saw my first coyote. I came around a corner and thought it was a deer at first but then I noticed the tail and was kind of shocked. Never saw one in the Pines before. Just thought it was cool. I tried to take a picture but he walked into the woods never to be seen again. I was about a 1/2 mile in from Jackson Road near the Burlington County/Camden County border. Google mapgs calls the road Philsfield Road.

I was there Saturday. I saw one deer.

Behind the hunting club on the curve of route 532. Between there and the Batona camp ground. He jumped out of the woods in front of my truck, ran in front of me for a bit and then back into the woods again.

That's where we hang out all the time (or used to when we all still lived in South Jersey). We called the first clearing off the road "The Field." There's also another clearing closer to Goshen we called "The Bizarro Field." Guess we'll have to be careful when we're camping out there in the near future.
