@bobpbx thanks for posting. You are correct, it's a great article and fascinating to read.

I thought the graphic towards the center of the article (about its colonization and migration over time based on data) was pretty cool. Consistent with the very long viability of the seed ("seed banking") which seems to be an adaptation for very harsh environments, I'm guessing it is somewhat difficult to get an accurate picture of the overall robustness of the population. I'm glad to hear of its resurgence.
