Searching For Stones Inscribed AL

I removed the GPS coordinate for the stone. Posting GPS coordinates of stones or historical locations in the past has caused individuals to remove or damage them.

With that said, yes that is one of the AL stones we visited.

In the far distant past we had problems with this issue so Ben asked all of us to no longer post coordinates of places where damage can be done to historical items. It is good practice.

It was great you were able to find it and search out our thread. There are at least 4 more semi nearby but they are much harder to stumble on. One was at one time directly east of that one on the upland at the below link.

Thank you for sharing this post. I came across one of the A+L stones in the middle of a cedar swamp area and was wondering what the marker was for.
