I don't think its a hearse, it is odd though, most of the 46 Chevy panels are not dual wheel heavy duty.

When you say "most", does that mean there are some out of the factory like that? That would maybe make this one a survivor.

It would be a guess on my part, but I believe it looks factory by looking at the running boards and fenders. If it was put together from a HD truck and a delivery it is a nice job!

Stranger things have happened. I bought a Toyota 4runner that way, guy just wanted it gone from in front of his house, said it needed an engine. Battery was dead and it was out of gas!
