Small game season opens Saturday

Cody, my Brit, turned 14. We'll be taking it real slow this season, if at all.

Looking forward to it! We went out last Sunday to get my dog's noses in the game. It'll be Chase's (19 month old Lab) first & Buckshot's (12 y.o.) hunt. I was excited when they flushed a pheasant in Glassboro WMA. I assume it was a leftover from the Take a Kid Hunting program the previous day.

The 'Take a Kid' programs are great. We did several; it was always great to see the young ones interested and the enthusiasm on their faces
