I tripped over this little guy this morning. It was about 6 inches long and as thick asd a pencil. I am having trouble with it as it might be really young. I was on my belly and it wouldn't hold still.
Ed you found yourself a redbelly snake. The vary alot from gray to brown. I've only seen three of these in the pines and finding one above the surface is get rare.
