I received my book. Damn if it doesn't talk about the pine barrens and snake hunting. Really neat book.

Two quotes I like from the book:

"The snake you see is not dangerous; it is the snake you do not see that might cause trouble by retaliating for an injury you inadvertently inflict"

"Snakes are where you find them" (get that one? Takes some thought).

Ahhhh, good one Guy :D

It means snakes are a lot more abundant than you would think, and that you only see the ones you run into. You know how people say..."where can I find snakes?". I think the answer means, right across the street from where you live (if its undeveloped). You just have to find them (unless of course the habitat is not right for the one you are looking for).
