It is with deep sadness that I must report that Joseph F. Petaccio Jr., Owner and President of Southern Railroad Co. of New Jersey passed away this morning at home in Philadelphia after a bout with cancer. Charlie Warner SRNJ

It will be interesting to see what happens. Many times these boutique railroads are the result of one person's dream and ambition. I wonder if there will be people who want to keep it running?

I know they had plans for the re-use of the line from Tuckahoe to Cape May, but that was a few years back.
