I frequently here folks pronounce chiggers as jiggers.In WV that is the defacto name of them.

Yea I was going to say I learned it as "jiggers" down here. When I first heard "chiggers" I figured I had just been told incorrectly.

I've hunted in Bevans WMA all my life and just learned about BaileyTown about 8 years ago. A friend and I did some research and set out to find some new spots to metal detect and have found some great relics in and around that bombed out forgotten town.
