:lol: Dr. Walt Bien from Drexel has done an immense amount of work with sphagnums. He's been helping me a bit, to find resources to get started. From what I understand they can be tough, some of them require microscopes for positive ID. Not like you can lay in bed with a handlens and ID them. Ha!
NJ has 38 different species of sphagnum.
As Dr. Bien says, "May the sphagnum be with you."
