Some lingering precipitation behind a cold front created a surprise burst of snow this morning here in the pines of Atlantic County and along most of the eastern half of New Jersey. Here are the pics:

I camped out along the batsto last night, nice surprise this morning, I will post some pics later. Snowed like hell for awhile, flakes were the size of a half dollar. First day of spring hiking in the snow, I got to see snow in the pines this year after all.

Very cool Keith! The flakes were huge here as well, especially early on. Its nice to see you got in on some snow... it really was unexpected and wasn't forecasted by any computer models.
