My grandaugher had a tick on her shoulder. It was definitely a lone star. I pulled it out. Now she has a rash that appears like a bullseye, but I've seen this before, and it's not lymes according to what I've read that lone stars do not carry lymes. Nevertheless of course she was seen by a doctor, who prescrbed antibiotics. The doctor said definitely lymes, but I said, no, can't be, so I looked it up.
