States that drink the most beer

Sorry Scott, you're gonna have to try harder. New Jersey is almost at the bottom of the list; Connecticut and Utah are the only states that drink less beer per capita.

In reviewing the data I ponder:
Does a State like California, with a great disparity between beer shipment ranking and per capita consumption ranking, spill a lot of beer ?

The numbers don't seem right. And California has a lot of shipping ports like New York, which is probably skewing the data.
