All the recent rain has really brought out the mosquitos down here. I lit a couple citronella candles to keep them away at lunch on the porch today. And the flies are getting very aggressive also. Oh well.... it's summer! :D

Boyd,

Bamber got caught in a freight train of a storm last nite. I stained the front of the house thinking a 20% chance was not too "chancey", but then the train rolled in at 7:30 or so. The tail end hung over Bamber for at least 20-30 minutes of solid rain.

Passed me by to the North, nothing here yet. Another big system is coming into Baltimore now though and it might hit me a little later, too soon to tell, might also pass South of me.

Some natural pyrotechnics been going on for about 20 minutes. Sirens going off as well. Kinda noisey. Looks to be passing right over us. No rain though.

Scattered all over the NE.

It thundered nonstop for about an hour an a half. I haven't heard that much noise from a storm in quite a long time. The thunderhead I saw was in the northern most part of Burlington. Very impressive to see, but I had the crew in the trucks to be safe. I didn't want anyone to be exposed if and when the storm hit. Luckily, it went towards the coast.

I have not seen rain or anything as of yet. I did see water on the streets in Haddon Twp and my wife said it did rain here before I came home. It looks like Ocean County took a good hit.

That storm nailed evesham/medford pretty good. I went over to little mill around 5 to play some golf and figured 30% didn't mean much, no umbrella either. Sat next to tree like a dope for about 30 minutes of a downpour. I think they got like 2 inches of rain, never saw it rain so hard during a t storm.

Got dime-sized hail here in Bamber at 4:30 today. Rained extremely hard. Windswept all the way at the ground level. A gully-washer. Now the dewpoint is an extremely uncomfortable 72% or so.

Hallelujah! After close to 2 years being down, Robert J. Miller Air Park (KMJX), is again providing weather data to the NWS for over 70+ square miles of New Jersey.

We didn't get a drop here, no thunder, no wind. Just a muggy afternoon and evening. Looks like summer in the Sahara of the Pines has begun again. :D

Related story ...somewhat. About 8:30 or so last night our cable went out during a storm and at 10 before going to bed it was still down. So I called Comcast and after answering all the usual questions she told me there was an unscheduled outing which means a storm. But what really had me concerned is now annoying me. She was able to know the exact minute I turn my computer on each morning and informed me it would be up by then. Now she did not actually say it that way, rather she did say it would be up by xx:xx which is the very minute I turn my computer on each morning.
