Stream Gage Station Along The Oswego River

This photo is from the Library Of Congress showing a stream gaging station on the Oswego River in June 1939. This morning before our PBX hike I went to the location of the one at Harrisville and it is not the same station. So where is the one in the photo along the Oswego?

I went to this building last year. I don't recall seeing a stream gage, but I always wondered what's inside the building. I think it's private property to get there.

That is Haines property. I believe they used it in the past for swimming. That can't be the place as it is private as you say.

I think they all are still being used. The lock is in good shape on the one at Harrisville.

Rooftree sent me this. Unless they altered that building in the years right after it was built, that is not the same place.
