Sunday morn excitement

Woke up to a loud BOOM about 12:45 this morning, woke up the dog as well. House was still so I went back to sleep. Then heard copters buzzing around, lots of flashing lights, thought it was a man/womanhunt

It would appear folks were having a party on the river ice last night, one of them took off over the ice in a car and disappeared, reported that the car fell thru. That is still unsubstantiated so far. The BOOM was the group shooting off fireworks.

Alcohol definitely contributed to my lack of sleep time.

And now its snowing again...

Hopefully the Coast Guard will charge the driver; big penalties, including up to 6 years in jail, $250+K in fines and restitution for helicopter use up to $20K per hour.
