Today was day 2 of Ted Gordon's plant class.
I am thoroughly enjoying all that I am learning in this class.
Today we saw Southern twayblade in bloom, Pinebarrens bellwort, Wild Lupine in bloom, and saw a number of other plants in vegetative state, different types of orchids such as ragged fringed, loeselli's twayblade, crane fly orchid and mistletoe.
There are about 30 people in the class from many different backgrounds--some just like me, some from US fish and wildlife, some from DEP, NJ Natural Lands trust, etc.
Beautiful weather, plenty of ticks!
