Well, this was always going to be about Atsion, but in preparing for my original post, I came across this YouTube video. It features a man negotiating the Atsion beach with a special wheelchair. It seemed worth sharing here:
This video turns out to be on the Pinelands Adventures channel. I make absolutely no endorsement of Pinelands Adventures by posting this, and want no parts of the whole PPA/Pinelands Adventures morass. All of that aside, watching someone gain access to a place I consider special is heartening.
My original post, now delayed, was on the pronunciation of the word Atsion. (Spoiler alert: I do not consider the use of "At-see-on" to be heartening.)
